Amy O'Grady, CRNP

"I am beyond excited to return after my three-year sabbatical. I look forward to reuniting with all of my former patients and getting to know many more that I have not met. I believe in empowering the patient to take charge of their own health by doing everything possible to prevent illness and disease. The greatest medicine is to teach people how not to need it. Thank you for welcoming me back – there really is no place like home!"

SPECIALTIES: Primary Care, Gynecological exams, and certified to do DOT physical exams.

About Amy

Amy O'Grady, CRNP is Board certified family nurse practitioner with 14 years experience in internal medicine, women's health, urgent care and occupational health. Amy first obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at East Stroudsburg University in 1998.  She then worked at Lankenau Hospital in the ER for seven years while obtaining a Masters of Science in Nursing and a Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Widener University in 2004.  She was the first provider to join Christine Meyer, MD and Associates when the practice called for expansion in 2006, and was there until 2015. She then went on to practice in urgent care and occupational health. She returned in February 2019, bringing many new experiences and much new knowledge to share.

Amy resides in Downingtown with her husband Tom, their two children, Tommy and Caitlyn and their very large great dane, Teddy. Time out of work is spent carting her children around to their various sporting events and extra-curricular activities, while enjoying every minute of watching them play and perform. She also enjoys all forms of exercise, reading, traveling and spending time at the beach and the mountains.

This provider and all staff at Christine Meyer, MD and Associates are fully vaccinated for COVID-19. We strongly encourage all eligible patients to receive the COVID-19 vaccination as well as a flu shot (annually), HPV vaccine, Shingles vaccine, and other preventative immunizations. If you have questions or concerns about the science behind immunizations or the shots you need and when, your provider is eager to help.
